The Ward Camp Out

Spender, playing soccer with the volleyball.

Just some dead bugs on my dad's car.

Mckinlee, I baby sat her when she was just a baby! Now she's all grown up.

My best friend Melissa.

Sara and her friends making a sand castle.

Sara, getting water for the water castle.

This is Austin, and he was chasing me around with the stick! I was pretty scared for my life, I'm not gonna lie.

I went with my family to my home ward's annual camp out. I think it was somewhere around American Fork canyon. It was right by the freeway and at night you could hear the cars and trains blowing their whistles at 5 in the morning.
I hung out with a lot of the kids I spent most of my teen years baby sitting, and by dinner time, my best friend Melissa came up with her family.
At night, we got a group of people together to play glow in the dark Ultimate Frisbee. We had glow sticks around our necks in our team colors and a glow in the dark Frisbee. Sadly, I can't catch a Frisbee or throw one to save my life. My team members learned that pretty quickly. So I just spent a lot of time running up and down the field.
It was so cold that night! I was going to sleep under the stars with Melissa and her sister, but chickened out at the last minute. I stayed nice and warm in my grandparent's pop up trailer.
In the morning, I refused to wake up. It was my first chance to sleep in in weeks! I was amazed at how nicely I slept.
After a huge breakfast and some lounging about my decided to head home, but just our luck, the Suburban wouldn't start. After trying to jump start it we all piled into my dad's car and headed home.
THE END
